Located in the year-round mountain community of Deer Valley Resort, Montage Deer Valley comprises 174 luxury guest rooms and suites and 81 private residences. Built in a refined mountain craftsman style to complement its mountain setting, the ski-in, ski-out resort features many premium amenities including private lounge and concierge staff, ski and bike concierge and valet services, Spa Montage (35,000 square foot retreat with fitness and wellness center), five distinct dining venues, outdoor Alpine pool and whirlpool spas, ski terrace and fire pits, retail shops, heated underground parking with valet, and over 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event facilities. Intermountain Plantings was pleased to be part of the construction team. Due to the mountainous setting, we craned more than 600 trees into the location. Nearly 1,000 trees total were installed, many of which were 20’+ spruce trees. The project also included a substantial rooftop garden or terrace, greater than 5,000 square feet.
Intermountain Plantings maintains the project on an ongoing, year-round basis. We provide a full-time landscape attendant to ensure quality and attention to detail. As part of Montage’s commitment to providing an exceptional outdoor experience, we also furnish a wide-scale yearly annual flower rotation, consisting of more than 10,000 premium 4” annuals.
